I can honestly say that our whole island of Palau was hyped up for this album's release back in 06'. The radio stations practically ran this album on repeat that summer and defined my summer break perfectly ...listening to songs like "I'll be on my way" and "Good Situation", kicking back with friends and having a good time. Takes me back every time I play it. I LUV IT!!

The boys have hit the target square in the bull's eye once more. The socio-political commentary of the lyrics mixed with emminently listenable harmonies and melodies make this work both timely and timeless, just as some of their earlier compositions are. I have been a fan for a long time, but drifted away and lost touch - I ran across this release by accident, and after one listen I have been bitten by the bug once again. They are as sharp and insightful now as they were when we were all just mere lads so many years ago.

As usual, UB40 has released an album that has all the Jamaican soul of a poolside soundtrack at a motel in Wisconsin. There's some decent stuff here, but like all their previous releases, it's plagued with that lame 80s Casio keyboard program.

If you are an old-school UB40 fan like I am; buy this album!! UB40 does it again! In a world of albums that only have one or two likeable songs on the album, UB40 offers an album that lets you just push the play button, and relax! Every song is a great song! No BS "filler" songs. I hope you enjoy this album like I do. Cheers!

UB40 brings all of the soulful energy back to this album like so many of theirs before. Led by frontman Ali Cambell, the bands signature sound hasn't missed a beat while avoiding the trap of thinking that they needed to improve or update their style. The eponymous UB40 serves up smash hits. Timeless, again. Thanks UB40.

Great record. UB40 is one of the few bands where I buy on reputation. At this point I'm not afriad to buy their music without previewing it first, and this album was no different. You won't be disappointed if you've been a fan for years.
