It's Not Funny

THIS IS A VERY FUNNY CD, HIS OBSERVATIONS ARE EXTREMLY FUNNY AND ON TARGET. MY ONLY QUESTION IS WHY ITUNES DOES NOT HAVE HIS FIRST CD "SHUT UP, YOU F!@@KING BABY ANYMORE. IS THAT GOING TO BE BACK ON ITUNES ANYMORE, THAT WAS A SUPERIOR CD.

David is out of work now that Bush is gone though, he has a few to many punch lines that involve the ex president.

I saw him on a Comedy Central while on a Delta plane and he was very funny. Some of this is funny most of it is bitter, angry, hostile attacks on people who don't think or like the things he likes. Basically, anyone who does not like what he likes or thinks like him is open season. I found him to be a really narrow minded person with little tolerance or allowance for those with differing opinions. Like many liberals, they love everyone - who think like them. Those who don't are open game to be ridiculed for their beliefs, spit on, called names and ok to extend their violence - all coming from the party of "tolerance". This dude is talented but has some deep resentment and anger....Let's hope he gets the help he needs. His hatred just oozes out of him.....and yet he attacks people who hate. Hypocritical content. Don't waste your money.

This album suksass!! It's awful, it should be called "I'm not funny and Dane Cook is a billion times better a comedian than I will ever be" Seriously, be smart and buy some Dane Cook or some Patton Oswalt or Mike Birbiglia or Jim gaffigan or something that might actually make you laugh, I would reccommend Mike Birbiglia.

David Cross is very funny / with great social comentary... CHAHTA SIA HOKE

David Cross, from Mr. Show fame, which is the best sketch stuff to date, comes correct on his second stand-up offering: It's Not Funny. Ignore the whacky titles, the performance is a brilliant dialogue between Cross and his musings. Often compared to Bill Hicks.

There are many downright filthy and absurd bits. And there are rageful but courageous insights regarding the caustic political landscape the neo-cons have fostered. Sure, it's passé to rip on Bush, now that no decent person believes the Rovian lies anymore. But David Cross was on top of the irony years before most of America. Cross taps the frustration that pervades the U.S. (and the world, I guess) with a terrible precision. Bill Hicks would have loved this.

The material was dull, and the last track stops playing about halfway through. "when all is said and done" should only be 5 minutes and 15 seconds long. His first (double) album was better.

David Cross is pure freaking brilliance. The second half of "My Child Is Enthralling, Especially When It Says Something Unexpectedly Precocious Even Though It Doesn't Understand What It Just Said!" is ultimately my favourite, but this album is honestly one of the greatest pieces of comedy I've heard. And to agree with everyone else -and this makes me happy to say- Dane Cook is truly horrible.
