Gregory Alan Isakov is an extremely talented singer and songwriter! Great album! The Stable Song touched my soul! Excellent banjo, and guitar! I highly recommend this album to anyone who appreciates great music! “I’ve done crazy, couldn’t you tell...I threw stones at the stars and the whole sky fell.” Very intelligently written lyrics!

First time I heard it, I broke down into tears. It makes me want to go home to a place I had never been before.

In Isakov's song, That Sea, The Gambler', the line "Oh there we were, the sun hit the starboard" ... my favourite lyric line EVER! Because those words, sung by Isakov with those with those accompanying instruments, like Forest Gump would say, 'They go together like peas and carrots". Of course the Stable Song is also gorgeous and as you dive into the rest of the album, you'll be hooked.

Completely taken a back. I don't want to go off on a tangent here so I'll keep this simple. This dude is unreal. Listen to his album "Northern Hemisphere", it's equally as good as this album. There are very few artists that can wow me all album, this is one of them. The song "words" is to die for. Listen it to it loudly in your headphones on rough night or with a glass of goose on the rocks and this song will allow you to get away. Truly, away. To a good place. Thank you Greg, and thanks for reading all. Long live good music. Cheers.

It's not often I find a new artist that is as talented as Gregory Alan isakov. All that mainstream bubblegum pop crap makes me barf! This album definitely offsets that and its great to hear something that so relaxing as this. This is some of the best music I've heard in a while and he'll definitely be a favorite of mine for a long time.
