This is as bogus at they come. It's clear that Art wanted to skate past the royalties he'd owe original (BEST) members Craig Montoya and Greg Eklund so he re-recorded all the songs with other members so he could keep all the profits. Pretty lame stunt - Art has just gotten more and more prideful, narcisstic and arrogant as time has gone on. The other members were key to the success of Everclear, which is a BAND, NOT A SOLO ACT. If Art's songs were so good, they would have made him millions on his own - but he needed the other guys to solidify the tracks. I've got zero respect for this guy anymore. If the trio ever came back for a reunion tour, now we're talking. I'd buy the first ticket!

These songs are not the original recordings, which are much better. I bought this on a whim, listened to it, and ended up buying the greatest hits album from 2004 (Ten Years Gone) as well. Do youself a favor and buy Ten Years Gone if you like their classic sound.

I'm not sure if this album is meant to troll people who liked this band. This is an an awesome garbage bag, who needs a re-recorded version of the song that defined the times like "Unemployed Boyfriend".
I had a good laugh listening to it.

I am a little bummed out cause when I saw a greatest hits album I was excited to be able to get a whole cd of my favorites, but then I soon realized that they are "re-recordings". Santa Monica has been a favorite for a long time. First time hearing the song I thought maybe my speakers on my phone were playing the song where it doesn't have the same impact on me as it did when I was a teenager. But unfortunately it's the re-recording of my favorite that has made it a drab song. I wish I would have just spent the money on buying the originals by themselves. Waste of money this album in my opinion.
