I have been a fan since the first album and usually have two or three favorite songs from each album. I was initially a little disappointed that this was only five songs, but this is the best album yet. The sound is very cohesive without being repetative and I love it.

This almost sounds like the kind of music that you would blast from your car as you dance outside with a high school sweetheart. The sun is setting and you have the time of your life. Seriously this is one of the best albums I've heard from a solo artist in a while. Some of the songs have a hint of whining in them but honestly this album is very, inspiring. The kind of music you play in a montage of a care free high schoolers life. Of course I'm talking about the more upbeat songs like Bonfire Hearts and Postcards. I now sound like a ranting lunatic. With the piano ringing in the background and cleverly written lyrics this album surpasses many in this time period. I have always enjoyed 70's and 80's music over current pop because it doesn't have the same feel to it. This album changes that. Kudos to Mr. Blunt for making such a great album.

I don't understand many things; I get this album. I have loved everything he has done. The Live versions etc. yet this latest work BLOWS ME AWAY!!! With such clarity of voice, gifted lyrics, and the music, it is brilliant. Amazing!!!!!
