Amarantine is perfection. Some if the most beautiful music I have ever heard. I stumbled across this album on a flight to my first trip to Paris with Bose headphones on. Love, love, love it! Thanks Enya!

I am an Enya fan and I got this album for Christmas and I love it! If you're also a fan of Enya, you should download the whole album. You will not be disappointed! If I had to pick out my faves in this album, they would have to be "It's in the Rain" and "River Sings."

Enya, thank you for sharing your voice. I hope and desire that I can share this with my daughter Kayla Vanessa Flores if I could be where you are. So eloquent and passionate very deep and meaningful to me.

I have explored just about every single possible facet of music out there from blues and jazz to classical to country to wrap to euro-pop and everything celtic under the sun. I have built a huge repertoire of music, and I have to say, no matter what I find, it never holds a candle to Enya. I love a lot of other artists, including her sister, Moya, but the sheer amount of work that Enya and her team put into every song is very apparent. They treat music making as a fine art, as it ought to be treated, and they are the masters. I have yet to hear an Enya song that I don't love.

The tracks on this CD have a slightly different sound than most of the Enya I've listened to, but I like it a lot! I love the rythmic energy of "The River Sings" and "It's in the Rain". "Long Long Journey" has a real sound of distance and longing, and as always Enya's music consistently has a calming, mystical quality that is distinctively her own. I don't really care for "Someone Said Goodbye", because it doesn't seem genuine to me, but that's just me. I've noticed that about half of Enya's music seems to be about either love, precipitation, or going somewhere. Haha.

Amarantine: 5/5. Another one of my favorite Enya songs. I love everything about it. It's In The Rain: 5/5. I sound like a broken record player, but it's BEAUTIFUL! My favorite is the chorus (first one starts at 00:51). Enya always reminds me of God and nature (for me, they're almost synonymous). The River Sings: 5/5!! Marvelous and mystical. The music flows like a river. And those of you who think Enya isn't upbeat should listen to this. Long Long Journey: 4/5. Excellent. I can't help but visualize the journey as I listen. Sumerigusa: 3.5/5. This is a nice song, but not very unique until 02:16. A Moment Lost: 3/5. It's just not different from anything else she's done. It's still relaxing, though. Not bad, Enya. Drifting: 3/5. Same as A Moment Lost! Amid The Falling Snow: 2/5. The ending is the best part (and by that I don't mean it's bad). Soothing. Water Shows the Hidden Heart: 4.5/5. It's great. I love it. The best part starts at 02:58.
