Ridiculously textured fun

I've been a skeptical lover of DM remixes since the late 80s. I always snag them and I always spin them, but I don't always love them. Hit and miss, but for some reason I'm always drawn to DM remixes. I'm curious. I want to see how the tracks get reconfigured and recontextualized. Even when I don't really like them over time, I always enjoy the act of re/discovery.
This particular set is quite fantastic, however, on all counts. One of my favorites -- even if the song itself, Cover Me, wasn't one of my favorite DM tracks. These are fantastic remixes. A variety of textures and backdrops from track to track makes this surprisingly listenable from front to back, beginning to end (and that's not par for course with massive remix EPs). If you dig DM, I recommend checking this one out -- even if Cover Me isn't your favorite track. Odds are you'll like the single a lot more after travelling through this array of soundscapes.
Seriously, DM -- great job on this one. *This* is how it can and should be done!
