Back in the 1960s Jim Morrison was singing marginally similar songs, the concept of being freed from other people, of dancing on the stage in shamanic rhythms, of being let go to break on through to the other side. The Killers clearly were influenced by Morrison and it’s a joy to hear it.

I've had this album for 10 years now and it's still a favoite of mine. I can't pick a favorite song because they are all outstanding. I have the delux version of this album. I really wish ituns still kept it.

I was 7 when this was released and it was my favorite album then. 11 years later and it still sounds just as good, literally never gets old. It’s so underrated.
