    • Barry’s first album from which I won’t buy a single song

Sorry Barry. As a lifelong fan of yours, this album is simply not good. Please stop trying to recreate 2:00 AM Paradise Cafe. Your fading ability to enunciate clearly (false teeth?) requires more instrumental orchestration to hide it. I wish you would pick and sing some original pop songs like those that made you famous. Please?

It feels like you're sitting in Barry Manilow's living room while he plays classic songs on his piano. This album has great music presented simply by a great musician. I love "classic Manilow" as much as the next child of the '70s, but this album is wonderfully sublime and a great companion to the first "Night Songs" and "2:00am Paradise Cafe" (which remains my favorite Manilow album of all time). Well done, Mr. M! More, please!
    • its ok, but I prefer full instrumentation

I also miss the double tracked vocals which used to be his signature sound.
