    • The tour that never was.

I was so looking forward to the Trial By Fire tour. This album was to launch a new era of journey. The band was at it’s mature best. Every song is a skillful masterpiece in itself. Oh, if we could only go back in time. Maybe Steve would have had the hip surgery and they would have toured after all.

The thought of steve perry ruining the tour of this amazing comeback album left a bad taste in the fans mouth.perry was nursing a bad hip injury in which he was advised to have surgery but being stubborn and decided to wait while the band made touring commements.the band never toured for this album and the album suffered because of it with only limited radio play and no tour all the hard work to get steve back in the band was all for nothing.
