You were asking which Prince release contained the song "The One".......that would be "New Power Soul". Not sure if it's on iTunes or not, but it won't be hard to find that CD anywhere in record stores or online. Happy hunting :)

I assume you are referring to Planet Earth.....the album released in 2007.....it most certainly is available for download on iTunes. I downloaded it last week. Fantastic new songs. Search "Prince Planet Earth". Peace & Love

I love "Just Another Sucker." I play it quite a bit and if I owned a radio station that played old school, it would definitely be in rotation. Though Prince does not personally acknowledge this early work with 94 East, it is a fine of what was to come from the Purple Genius. I had no idea this material was out until I found it here and I am glad I did! Who would've thought that this guy would revolutionize the music industry with the Minneapolis sound. Recommended for all true Prince fans...

I was hesistant in purchasing Planet Earth from the store because I prefer my music from iTunes.. but recalling his distates with the "fat wallets" I figured it wouldn't be here.. and WOW.. was I right. Go buy the New One!!! it's sooo worth the gas.. even at today's prices.

OH MY GOODNESS!!! For years, I've past on this because his first two Warner Bros. albums ('For You' in 1978 and 'Prince' in 1979), compared to the rest of his vast catalog, are tepid at best; solid outings, but probably the least listened to amongst most fans. However, when one does given them a listen, you realize his gifted talent even way back then. My gut feeling about this release had always been that this one would be even paler than the aforementioned titles since it came before and wouldn't be as polished in production. Also, I had the impression that 94 East was someone else's project and that Prince was only playing the guitar. It turns out on these tracks, like with the majority of his work, he's the whole band too! What's so amazing about it is that it's so far ahead of his first two albums in sound and scope. After one listen of this, I was left wondering why he toned it down on those releases. This is a MUST HAVE for collectors of his music. Highly recommended!!!

I guess Prince wants you to go to his NPG website to buy the new album. Why else would the old stuff be here as new? This stuff is good tho' too. Many more would buy it from iTunes than from a pay-membership website. C'mon Prince I thought you were a good businessman. Pretty please....lol.

The new Prince album is probably not going to be on ITunes because of the small split that the artist gets from these downloads. Prince ditched the music companies over a decade ago and now owns and distributes his own stuff. He gets to keep the majority of the money although he also gets a lot less exposure. Presumably, he is still making more now than he did before with Warner Bros hocked his stuff for him.
