The word “genius” is used WAY too much IMO and for people who clearly aren’t. But Ludwig... you can feel it, whatever it is that makes composers great, he’s got it and he’s got it spades. “Ships a ho, Mandalorians!” “Mando is Back,” Come with Me (on another Mando soundtrack). Really, really incredible work.

Literally best money ever spent. And the the price is good. There are 13 tracks... and many that are longer than five minutes.

This is again a great addition to all the chapters of season one and even though I understand the reason for compressing the albums, it is regretful to see some great cues missing especially from chapter 9(episode1,s2). Hopefully some extended version will appear down the pipeline...it could have been 5 star.

Music is absolutely high quality! Not that there was any doubt if season 1 ost was any indication. (I heard that Rogue One cue in the final track here and shed a singular tear)
My one nitpick is that there are a couple of iconic scenes who’s tracks or variants don’t appear here.

Those are the 2 I can think of rn but there are probably more. Maybe they are bonus tracks for the end of the season, but I still wish they were here.

While I love the idea of having volumes instead of tons of individual albums, this collection feels extremely shorted. There has to be more music than this through 4 episodes. Ludwig’s music is fantastic and deserves 5 stars, the only reason that it’s getting less is because of the shorted album.
