      This album,and the preceeding volume,cosist of the individual musical tracks of several Classic Trek episodes being blended into symphonic suites. I found the effect of this to be like a musical canvas of the tone and thrust of each episode. The re-recording of these scores for these two volumes was technically excellent,and if you've seen the original episodes as many times as I have, you will instanltly recognize the source.As with most Trek scores of the original series, there are hints of the times they were composed in, but that should not be a limitation to enjoyment of well written music.
