This album was 50 years in the making. From their 1972 release "Lonesome Crow", until today, the Scorps have forged a distinctive path. It's almost always been the combination of music from Rudolph Schenker, and the lyrics of Klaus Meine. That's been the formula for 50 years, and it works. A great effort from these 70+ year old's. Of course, their sound has always been surrounded around their great lead guitarists. From Uli Roth (1972-1978) to Matthias Jabs (1979-present).

The Scorpions have done what Priest, AC/DC, Maiden, Saxon and everyone else has failed to do; they touched upon their former greatness. No, not every song, but none of the songs is a dog and Rock Believer, Seventh Sun, Peacemaker, Crossing Borders, and When You Know are definitely in the A List Ball Park. Of course, they did not get but so close to Animal Magnetism, China White, No One Like You, or Still Loving You... but dayum! few things ever do! I give it to them. They did what they set out to do...

Someone in their family, must've needed an operation. This album was made of sheer desperation :/
    • Solid effort

Klaus and Rudolph back writing together. Nice. Classic Scorps. Good songs.

You couldn't ask for a better release. This dalbum has me jamming on the Scorps all this week. Can't get enough of the new tunes.
