IM sure with time I will without a doubt grow more fond of it- But as for the moment it is quite lofty and the intended melody escapes me.- The typical Metheny chords- but thats the charming part of it.

Unreal to hear someone sit down with his guitar and bang out this fantastic music. Ferry Crossing is a very soulfull song. The solo version of Last Train Home is outstanding. Hearing his fingers working the strings shows how hard he works to create his music. One man, one guitar, one great disk.

Words cannot begin to explain how grand of an album this is. How Metheny hand picks his guitar is a site to see live. The story behind the album is amazing as well. Buy this album, sicne there is only one song buy it on CD. Track 2 , Song For The Boys, is one of the most spectacular pieces of music I've ever heard. I saw the Pat Metheny Trio live and Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor, MI and seeing him live for the first time, and especially being the only 15 year old in the entire audience, really makes me appreciate him even more. Pat Metheny is one of the greatest guitarests alive today.
