I’m sure the other reviews have said it all regarding the musicality & brilliance of how Ren put this concept of a song together in his own unique way. I’d just like to add that it’s special cuz Ren is an independent artist. Plus he hasn’t been able to promote his album in the “normal” way that artist do like in person interviews & touring. Most meaningful song and performance that I have ever seen!

This song is an excellent example of the inner demons we all struggle with and how the emotional battle of good and evil plays out on the grand scale of our inner image attempting to reconcile who we are as fragile & fractured beings.

This is the first time in at least a decade that I’ve truly been moved by a single song (and not a whole album). Ren has captured inner struggle (his struggle) in a way that transcends a simple acoustic song. If you haven’t seen the video that accompanies this song, please be sure to find it on YouTube. Ren has not only written an exceptionally relatable and awe inspiring song…he’s created in my opinion a music video that surpasses any music video I’ve seen since “Thriller” (yes I’m old lol). He leaves you with a beautifully executed live performance that added elements of light and dark by using theatrical lighting orchestrated with well thought out physical / facial expressions that carry his words of truth with the justice of everything that should be real! Ren, thank you.
