There is very little that is original or particularly musical here. There is a lot of ego-driven, self-indulgent guitar playing which quickly becomes boring. The vocals are not very good, and quite frankly the set list is mediocre. Move along, there is much better stuff elsewhere.

Funny how we can't find as many new artists that can grind and scream like the older boys. Jonny Lang has got so much talent it's scary. Come down off your high horse and just listen. Yeah Trout likes to hear himself. But when you add him to a broader collection of guitarists you'll see where some of the newer guys get their licks. Bonamassa should be in your collection if you are serious about music and blues and variety. Listen to 'Live at Albert Hall.' Trout has the cred so move on if you don't like what you hear.

the last review said to try joe bonemassa or something like that...i did. he stunk. try listening to The Nimmo Brothers. they're great... and by the way, the free radicals are not so bad...not great but not bad either.

If you're looking for great live blues-rock this isn't the place, unless you enjoy a lot of self-indulgent see-how-loud-and-fast-I-can-play guitar soloing over some fairly unimpressive songs. You can do much better, for example, Joe Bonamassa's A New Day Yesterday (Live) or Lonnie Mack's Attack of the Killer V (not on iTunes).
