Hedges was a hunter-gatherer of sounds. He found so much beauty in a box with strings.

I first started listening to Michael Hedges in 1985 - when I entered the military. Funny as it sounds, through 3 wars and many deployments his music kept me level headed as a combat medic. I would come back from my flights and get aboard another with his music. Thanks Michael - your gone but your music lives.

This music changed the way I look at the world. It re-arranged the way musicians approach the guitar. To say this album is inspiring is a severe understatement. This is my personal favorite of his albums. While Arial Boundaries may get more attention, this album provided the root structure for later releases. A definate must for anyone.
