Yay is right about this album! And yes I-tunes! You have to put Noel's self titled album featuring silent morning, like a child, out of time and change here. Pleeeeaaase!

Perhaps her voice was too big for one genre? But what a fun genre it (Freestyle) is! India is the best voice to come out of the freestyle genre. You might say, well that's not hard to do considering. Yes considering that most of the gals had awful, thin, nasaly voices (then again that was their charm). BUT there's no denying India has an amazing voice [in any genre]. My only problem is that I find Salsa music to be utterly monotonous and boring. I miss the cheesy musical backdrop that Freestyle provided her. The likes of Jellybean Benitez and Little Louie Vega, powerhouses of late 80s and early 90s dance music, teamed up w/ India's booming voice are a match made in heaven and sticky dance floors. Dance floor stompers such as "The Lover Who Rocks You", "Right From The Start", "Dancing On The Fire" and "When You Were Mine" alone are worth the 5 stars I've deemed this release worthy of. While Salsa's princess reigns, don't forget where she started. She'll rock you all night...

I have been looking for India since I left Miami in 1991. I miss her voice, missed this album. I had it on cassette at one point and I wore it out, I played it so much! I couldn't remember the name of the album for the longest time, so I just now found it. I can't wait to play it in my car like old times and dance in my seat! Thanks iTunes for bringing the more obscure stuff back! Just found Pajama Party's Up All Night too so I'm loving it!!!
    • Best freestyle album in history!!!

In my opinion, this album is the best freestyle album in history!!! India is also one of the best freestyle singers of all time! Includes 3 totally massive dance hits, including "Dancing On The Fire", "The Lover Who Rocks You", and "Right From The Start"! Even if you have the hits from this album on other compilations, the album versions are different and in some cases better than the single versions. Plus, there are really no dull filler songs on this album, so you don't want to miss out on any of these! Every track is a great song, and India's vocals are awesome on each one!!

The best album to be ever arranged in the Freestyle genre. Her voice with the productions of Jellybean, Little Louie Vega and many others really did it in this album. My favorites are "When You Were Mine" and "Dancing On the Fire", they shows off her powerful voice at a very young age. Other great ones are "Right From The Start" and "The Lover Who Rocks You "All Night)", as well as "I Got A Plan" really bring out the essence of Freestyle. Her voice has the power to return this genre to its former glory. When will she be back? Who knows all we can do is hope for the return of Freestyle Royalty who ranks with the likes of Judy Torres, Nayobe, and others.
