I love this album! If you're a Cure fan, you need to have this in your collection. This is one of my most listened to CD's. My wife got this CD over 12 years ago (it was released in 1993, not 2004 as stated on iTunes) and I still listen to it regularly. It's much more of an acoustic album and different than the radio versions that we all listed to years ago. It brings new life to the original songs. I actually like the concert versions on this album more than the original, but I'm biased to acoustical and concert versions.
As a side note, listening to the clips on iTunes does no justice to this album at all. You get no feel for the mastery of this album from the short clips.
Get the European version!

The import was a 2-disc set, full concert minus the encore set, which is on the companion video. The American market saw it edited to this with the Sideshow EP, what a joke!

Generally, I'm not a big fan of live albums. I think one of the best things about live shows is the fact that I'm there live. But this album is great because it comes from one of the best tours and brings back memories from when I show this show. The sound is superb and is truely best listened to loud as the inner sleave suggests. This album is number 2 behind Talking Heads "Stop Making Sense" live album in my "best of" live albums. If you like The Cure then this is a must have. Enjoy.

Ok Dont get me wrong, The cures wish is my favorite cd under the sun however with this live cd, 8 of 14 songs are from wish, being that this disc is from the Wish tour. Theres not really a variety on here. It cant be considered the cures definitive live set when your missing keys songs. Although extremely enjoyable, especially a slower paced A Night Like This its just not enough to make me choose this disc over the wish. I would say all in all the best live cd would be the companion cd Paris.
