    • Wrong version of "It Don't Matter To Me"

This version is the hit single, not the original album version which was quite a bit softer.
    • Early Version of "It Don't Matter To Me"!

A good debut album for Bread from 1969. No national hits, but three songs received regional airplay: "Any Way You Want Me", "Dismal Day", and the rare "Could I". I did not mention "It Don't Matter to Me" because this is an early version in a completely different key! The hit version was a re-recording that came out a year later, and it can be found on any of the Bread hit collections.
    • Still Great Since 1969

I remember hearing this in my buddy Dave's awesome smoke fueled bedroom in 1969. We were into great (Byrds, Beatles, Springfield) music and this fit right in. Unfortunately Bread went quite stale after this record. But unlike any records from 1969, this one amazingly holds up. The production is current sounding and the music makes you feel good. Ain't that what its all about after all?

I'm a pretty casual guy, but this album makes me want to tuck my shirt into my pants and wear a belt.

If you love the group you'll love this album. No group could have started out right from the first album any better than this. The songs will stick withyou and get you to sing along with them.
