    • Best Studio Album So Far

I've been listening to RR since their appearance on Austin City Limits, and saw them at the Salt Lake City Summer Twilight Series with Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears (another great band) in 2009. This is album is in my top three for 2010. Love it.
    • High Point of Crossroads

They were definetly the high point of Crossroads 2010 for me with Travelin Shoes - amazing talent and energy, and they have their own fresh groove, they play off each other like they were born to (which they were)

Really love this album, especially the Will Gray tracks "Back to the Wall" and "Don't Change". Also love the Family's take on "If I Had My Way" great song! Great album!
    • Respect but Disappointed

I respect this album for what it is, but I am disappointed that RR hasn't done as many tracks similar to Get There Deliver Me and Ain't Nothing Wrong With That on this album. I was just expecting something different I guess. Oh well.
    • Celebration with a twist

First of all, this album is great. I love the old school blues songs (if I had my way for example), but the more pop oriented ones can get a bit annoying... but as always there is some beastly guitar. This cd is a celebration of all of Randolph's predecessors, from a variety of genres... from the segues (which are sweet by the way) to actual songs. And then, he ads his own original style to it, making it sound fresh. For those who say this album lacks the energy of past albums, I would just say that they have matured a bit... not that I don't love "live at the wetlands" :)
    • This IS music!!!

I know everyone loves his high power fast tempo jams and screaming live solos(including me)...But its been a long LONG time since an entire album has givin me chill bumbs...This has the most eclectic sound yet still very streamlined peice of music ive heard...And after just reading an interview w/ RR about the meaning/origin of some of the songs it is amazing!!! I think everyone needs to do themselves and others a favor and spread this music. i think it could potentially fix whats wrong with music these days.
    • Are these new or old songs?

are some of these old songs? like the song Traveling Shoes i think is years old. i heard it 4 years ago and since then i have been trying so hard to find it. I am glad he finally made it available. however for some reason i thought it was called Traveling Suit. Anybody know anything about this?

I listened to it once all the way through not sure if I'll listen again. What a drastic change from the Wetlands album.
    • His best yet

To those who bemoan his return to gospel, that's where he started and remains who he is. He therefore sounds his best there. An incredible talent.
