If I close my eyes while I listen, I can smell the Desert, Feel the wind, ... I am almost there. Thanks Mr. Tingstad. Job well done!
    • Ambient

This album is honestly beautiful- Tingstad's playing glues together a very loosely tight ensemble of some amazing musicians playing the truly unique style of Ambient Americana, and the songs are very well crafted in the way that although they're very relaxed, they're not static and that keeps the album listenable and interesting. This album is something truly interesting that takes a bit of getting used to, but now I can say I'm a Tingstad fan.

This album puts me in the best mood and is right for any occasion. Eric Tingstad creates a musical room when you hit the play button and in that room you will find yourself in a very comfortable space. I highly recommend this to everyone!

I bought this CD a few weeks ago and I've been listening to it at work recently. It creates an incredible atmosphere for working, or just relaxing to. It is a very unique sound, combining elements of New Age, folk, Americana, and Southwestern music. The musicianship is exceptional and the album creates a really relaxing and refreshing atmosphere.

As a guitarist, I find Eric's playing brings a new level of awareness to the instrument. I love how it is featured in his projects. I have his cd on while ai am working and I find it very soothing throughout my day.

I was a big fan of the Windham Will records in the good ol' days, and Eric's record not only transports me back to those, but introduces a whole new approach of "Ambient Americana." Tingstad truly has a unique style that really does ambient music very well, and his playing, the band's playing, and everything else about this album is very well done!

I got this album on a tip from a friend, and I keep finding new excuses to listen to it! Not only is it an amazing and emotional album, but the uniqueness of "ambient americana" works very well for my relaxation/meditation, but has enough listening value that I still enjoy listening to it outisde of those situations. It helps that Tingstad and the other musicians are all in top form on this album, and the production is beautiful and very tasteful. Tingstad's playing in particular really brings the album to another level, with his great mix of emotion, ability, and spaciousness. This album is amazing, buy it now!

Eric Tingstad does it again, this time a little quieter and more reflective than his first ambient Americana record Southwest, but no less original and enjoyable. Very tuneful, with restrained production that lets the playing speak for itself. This is great music for a long drive through the desert, or for that matter, an urban commute. We think it's a great addition to our playlist. You'll enjoy it.
