not a fan of idol but chris is probobly the best person that came out of the show.

one of the greatest music videos ever announced. the audio coordination was PERFECT.

I hate the video...which doesn't at all mean its bad, I just hate that style. The song is Awesome...the talent of Daughtry and his band is Awesome as well, but I hate this style of video that could be called "Ultra-Hyper-editing-room-Syndrome". Its too easy to sit in the editing room and go "hog-wild" with the 2 or 3 days of footage your working with, which is done here and on so many others. The real creativety sometimes is found in a less-is-more approach, instead of quick cutting every two seconds (which can be and IS HERE - so annoying) just because YOU-CAN with all the state-of-the-art video studio gadgetry....dig deeper and find the deeper visual cadences which would aestetically bring out so much more that is still lurking in the song. I find the song to be about a hundred times more interesting WITHOUT the Video, which is Overdone...Over-Edited in a "Quick-Cut-by-the-numbers" Over-Used Style.
