      Bruce Springsteen is one of the best things to ever happen to the Rock genre. He's incapable of writing a bad song, his music is catchy and it has emotion, energy, and every element that makes a good song even better. The guy's a genius. (By the way, I'm fourteen, and most of my friends call this 'old people music.')

      I think the song is a great, classic Springsteen song - so how would the video match up? Brilliantly, as it turns out. First, and obviously, it's very dark. The band enters the video gradually and out of the shadows. The visuals show a city (sure we all know which one, but really, it could be any city anywhere) full of bodies going everywhere, with only rare moments of connection. And then there's the ripped "posters" of Springsteen's face. Know who's underneath Springsteen? When you rip off the veneer, it's still Springsteen. It's up to the viewer to draw the connections in this beautiful video to the lyric as well as to the themes of the dark, angry "Magic," but let's face it, when has a music video given the viewer anything to chew on at all?
