    • Great companion piece to Stage!

A lively, full 1978 Bowie concert, something the most recent expanded version of Stage never accomplished. “Rebel Rebel” is still missing. Well, not here Mister! And, it also includes the one and only appearance of the hit “Sound And Vision” from a Bowie setlist on the entire 1978 tour. Not sure why it worked out that way. The version of “Station To Station” here is a beast. The full synth intro by Roger Powell is massive, and it beats the pants off the version on Stage for sure. “Blackout” is brilliant, as are “Speed Of Life” and “The Jean Genie.” Dennis Davis was one of Bowie’s all-time greatest drummers, and his work here shines on for all to enjoy.
