Every song is perfect, fantastic album.

This album is a must listen for any metalheads out there. This band does not get the recognition they deserve. Three albums in and still killing it! 👍👍

This is the record they needed to break them out. Expecting big things moving forward. Extremely intense/heavy with atmospheric elements. I dig it.

Could this sound any better? Seriously. I hope they read these because they NEED to know how terrific this music is.

Annihilate

My opinion: This is one of those rare "MASTAPIECE" albums where literally every song is incredible. 50 minutes of ethereal bliss, catchy riffs, and one filthy breakdown after another. Dark slowly builds up the atmosphere and tone for the whole album before dropping you square on your face as the vocals and main beats kick in, then it just doesn't stop for 5 whole minutes. Follow that up with Cloud Cascade (love the multiple transitions between soft and heavy on this one), Hollow Light, and Shapeshifter to get a taste of the variety that's coming. Fireside was an absolute shock, nothing like any other song and yet it still finds a way to fit perfectly without being a forced attempt at a mainstream ballad. Eden is my favorite song, the lyrics are great, instrumentals are so beautiful it gives me chills, and it has imo the absolute best chorus on the album. 13 songs later you're sitting at the end of Nova, a terrific closing track, wondering how something so beautiful just fell in your lap. This album is full of so much technicality and melody that I'm still trying to absorb it all after like 4 times through. Incredible production, absolute AOTY 2020 contender, and the band's best work without a doubt. Metalcore textbooks are gonna look back on this one with fond memories. Amazing album from one of my favorites. Songs have an incredibly emotional and atmospheric vibe to them both lyrically and musically. New vocalist is perfect in my opinion. The wait was well worth it id say

I knew it would be a phenomenal album, but I was not expecting this. Above and beyond all my expectations.

I’ll start off by saying I’ve been a fan of this band since their inception and I’ve loved every release so far. I don’t usually listen to metalcore at all (I’m into Deatchcore/Death Metal) but these guys are insanely unique. You won’t find any of the typical intro-verse-chorus-verse-chorus-breakdown-outro song structure that other metalcore bands strictly follow. From the the instrumentals to lyrics to vocals to song structure, these guys are the best of the best in the subgenre. All that being said, I do prefer the old vocalist over the new one since I’m not a fan of the occasional girly sounding cleans. I definitely recommend this album and all their previous albums to any metalhead, regardless of what your taste is. I promise this band deserves a place in your music catalogue.
