I had passed up listened to these guys on purpose after few stops at this album preview over the last year. I’m not sure why, but the previews didn’t inspire me and I didn’t think I enjoyed the vocalist. Then, I listened to the YT stream. I don’t know what changed exactly, but I heard all the songs as they are meant to be heard- in order and the full thing, and wow- that is all I can say. This band is atmospheric and HEAVY. I’m not sure how they pulled it off in this genre, but this is about the heaviest thing I’ve heard in it. There are a few moments worth noting here: Sol a little after the one minute mark, Naturehold right from the start, as well as just past the two minute mark (what a build up!), Nocture just past the two minute mark after the build up ( what a breakdown!!!), Courier is just heavy- especially just before the one minute mark (MASSIVE AND SLOW). All in all, Everchanger is a super solid and super heavy record with some good atmosphere to it. It was a bit repetitive for me at first, but that changed as I really delved into each song.

97-98% Invent wrote themselves without any other input for everyone to know. Jesse came in after songs were prewritten for a week and just gave them his ideas to some parts of songs "preproduction" before recording. Known these guys for some time and as well was in the band when it was created. They're naturally talented when it comes to writing these songs.
