    • Long Time Fan says “They’re back!”

I’ve been following UB40 since nearly the beginning of their formation, and this might be their best album since, “Who You Fighting For?“ The 2008 split was tough, and I felt they were someone struggling for long after that, and understandably so. their music has always been solid, but there was someone struggling to find their “Voice” after Ali left, and then followed by the lead Astro. And then, further complicating matters was the sad death of a very dear man, Brian Travers, one if the principle sing writers. Robin has been a rock, as have been the other UB’s who’ve only improved musically: wicked bass and drums, stellar brass section, beautiful harmonies, etc. Now with the addition of Matt Doyle as singer and guitarist, I feel they’ve breathed new life into UB40 with hope of many additional years if good music. Please go back to writing more originals - I’ve always felt that was your best material. UB45 has brilliantly reconstructed many hits, from all the back to their first single - A and B tracks, and sone great new tunes. Very appropriate and well done boys!!! -Tom Jordan
