Another uneven Foreigner album. The one great song, to me, is the opening track, Tooth And Nail. If only more songs on the album were that heavy and that good. Only two other hard rockers, Reaction To Action and Stranger In My Own House. The rest of the songs are a bit too heavy on keyboards and synthesizers. Still, not a bad album.

"I Want to Know What Love Is" is one of the Foreigner songs I remember hearing on David's iPod. I can't wait to see the video! Hey iTunes, can you bring in the video for "I Want to Know What Love Is" for us?

They might have still had the great Lou Gramm but these are mostly bad songs
    • Decent. Different from some of their others.

Truly, folowing up an album like 4 is virtually impossible, and Foreigner's fifth studio album proves this point. Although the quality tracks still show up on parts of the album, the tracks just aren't classics from start to finish. In spite of the less consistent nature of this album as compared to 4, the overall quality of this album is still satisfactory, just not exceptional, and several of the tracks are either Foreigner staples ( That Was Yesterday and I Want to Know What Love Is) or underrated album tracks ( Growing Up the Hard Way, Reaction to Action, Two Different Worlds and Down on Love ). The fillers are just the beginning of the obvious, that Foreigner's glory days were starting to fade away.
