a bit of a diffrent sound for seal. Songs like "System" and "Right Life" have a bit of a familiar ring to them making them some of my favorites. individual songs are good on this album. not one of his strongest albums though.

All but two songs on this album sound exactly the same, but with different words. boring dance mix tunes. what happened to his imagination? ugh!

I'm a huge seal fan and I gave gotta say this is one of his best albums, it brings a whole new sound to seal. Most of seals albums besides the soul album have a more mystical cool smokey feel to them but this album has plenty of tracks you'd find in the club, I really felt like dancing when I heard this if you're a Dj there's plenty to work with. I'm pretty surprised that there were any dissapointments in the album

I know many, many bands. Most of them, unfortunately, are simply not good. Mainstream radio has killed great musicians. Seal is just one of many, but he is my favorite! I love his style, and I admire him because he doesn't sell out to big radio stations and become just another unoriginal artist. This album is one of my favorites of his, and "Immaculate" gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. Great job, Seal!

I have come late in life to SEAL. Just within the last year. And I can't believe that I didn't follow him before even if I don't listen to much music. This particular album, SYSTEM, seems to have everything good about Seal and in my opinion, is his finest album.

Like most teenagers i never ever heard some of seals music. My dad came home the day that system came out with a cd for him and one for me and i told him to go back to the store and return it. I was really stupid! Since that day i have become a huge Seal fan and I've bought almost all of his albums. I believe system is the most unique album and best album Seal has released so far. I mean its so much more unique than your average pop/rb singers album. Seal incorporated some techno, pop and a little european flavor that your Chris Browns and Ushers dont do( all they do is look cute and dance well). The best songs to me are The Right Life, Amazing(Thin White Duke Edit) and System. The lyrics are beautiful and well written in all of his songs and his voice sounds amazing. I highly recommend this album!

Hey...I love Seal and this is an improvement over his 4th release by a slight, slight margin but it is NOTHING like his first 3 releases. The depth and variation is gone. I read several months ago that Bill Bottrell was going to produce Seal's latest but it obviously got sold out to a young Brit who only does dance music. These songs are good but definitely not "great". Just go back and listen to the first three releases and you should understand. I just feel that his sound has been cheapened. Seal...don't feel that you need to be hip. Just do what you truly feel is true to your soul. Maybe your major label forced you into doing what was against your intentions. I'm waitng for the next cd and hoping you go back to your roots with more tempo variations and instrumentation. This release is just too clubby.
    • Seal's best album since 1991

This is honestly his best work since the album that began it all. It's only downside is that some of the basslines are repetitive. With the Human Being album Seal began a decline into mindless pop garbage that I thought he was forever cursed to continue. This album was a pleasant surprise.

Seal is an amazing artist, after buying the whole album the day it came out, I was not disappointed at all! This album is a must!
