This is the CD I have been waiting to see on ITunes! The vocals on so many of these songs are some of Al's best. I especially think "So Good" is one of the best slow dance numbers he ever did. You've got to try dancing to that...believe me...it's fantastic. I also get knocked out over "Killer Love"...especailly at the end when he starts calling..."Doctor! Doctor! Killer Diller! Too, too much!

Twenty years ago, listening to this album made me feel really good about myself. I used to do my workouts to this and other Jarreau albums. The lyrics and rhythms are perfect for any setting. I'm not going to pick one song because anything he does is good. Don't have a turntable anymore so I need to get the "old" ones from here and burn. Twenty years later, not feeling so good about myself so I'm turning to Al...I'm feeling better already!

this is gem that has been overlooked for a while. The absolute best songs on this release are Pleasure over Pain, One Way, More Love and Heart's Horizon. The rest of the release is great, but those songs stand out. Great 80s record!!

A couple that that really stand out more than the others for me though (on this particular album): The title track, "Heart's Horizon," and "One Way," the vocals on that track are especially lovely. Brings back some great 80's memories. I always love Al. We used to go see him live quite a lot before he was such a superstar, down at the Baked Potatoe. Remember that? You really can't miss if you buy any of Al's albums. I'm really glad I've got a lot of his music on my iPod now. Makes for a nice time, anytime.
