As a young white teenager in suburban Maryland, Earth Wind and Fire were my introduction to contemporary black music. I was into rock exclusively before and really only knew top 40 soul music. This joyful, soulfull music opened a new world and led me to discover Parliament, Funkadelic, The Meters and other bands all the way to Prince and Michell N'degeochello (spelling?) and most importantly jazz. This album opened my ears and for my money is EWF's best album. This band was on fire in the seventies and this live document is the proof! I used to practice drums and sax to this album.
    • The Best.
