This album contains some of Henrix's best licks. One of the most mellow of this cans be found on the last track"Villanova Junction Blues " . A nice complement to add with the other LP "Valleys Of Neptune ".

All the tracks on this so-called album are bad takes which Hendrix would have never released, as he was a perfectionist when it came to releasing something with his name on it. Either the tempos are wrong, the guitar playing is uninspired noodling (sounds like very early versions of the tunes… like he was still trying to find where he was going with it); this was obviously a scheme hatched by Janie Hendrix into duping Hendrix fans into buying tracks that have already been released; and sound way better than the versions on this album. I mean, don’t get me wrong it’s nice to hear new Hendrix stuff, but at the same time, the last few releases just seem like they’ve been scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as anything worthwhile in the vaults. GUYS if there’s nothing more that’s decent in the vault of Hendrix, then please do us all a favor and protect his legacy.

It's Jimi, there's just quite simply no one else at this level musically.

I tip my hat to Eddie Kramer & Jimi's family for keeping Hendrix out there and in our souls. I was intraduced to Jimi from my father and I have passed him on to my kids :) Can't say enough good things here. I wish I had a time machine:)
