One Love

Let me start off by saying I'm a huge NE fan. So my review maybe a little bias towards them. With that said let's move on. I really think One Love is one of NE most complete album. I really think if Bad Boy had allowed them to pick the release of the songs. How they group had wanted them. One Love would had been their best seller. Songs like Re-write the Memories and Newness shows the group at it's best. I can't understand why BadBoy wouldn't want to cater toward the more mature voice of Johnny Gill. It's no longer NE without Jonny blending in with Ralph and Ricky voices.. Songs like Last Time and Wildest Dreams show why Ralph will always be NE frontman and why we love him so much. Sexy Lady show Ricky talents and why he's so underrated. I think NE should come out with some new much but also include a few songs off this album. Just to show those that missed out the first time around. Just what good R&b sounds like.

Is it me or do the boys harmony sound tight great cd

Listen. Diddy don't like any 2 shine but him. How can u not put the proper promotion behind these guys. I hope 2 get the other songs that didn't get on this album. My hopes r they get more acclaim it just seems like they r always getting shafted by someone. This album is great even with the trouble they went thru making it. NE rules!!!!!

I suppose that everyone knows that NE is currently off touring as two different groups (BBD/Heads of State). I'm still waiting for all six members to come together and make a new album and perhaps release it along with a movie portraying their rise as a R&B group. These guys did great as individual acts but enough time has passed. It's time to get back in the studio (with a record label that will produce and promote) and get back to creating that magic that got them where they are now. A very talented group of men!!!!!!! Bring back the music that your fans love and show these young cats how it's done.

What is there not to love about this album? Shame on Diddy... These guys needed better promo and a better deal... here is to hoping they are back and soon!

New Edition is classic! The single "Hot2Nite" is from the "One Love" album on the BadBoy label. Due to a dispute between Diddy and the group the cd was put back on the shelf. However, it is one of New Edition's best cd's. Buy it! Songs like "Re-Write The Memories," "Newness," "Leave Me" and "Come Home With Me" are just few of the many classics on that cd. Support Ronnie, Johnny, Ricky, Mike and Ralph! New Edition World Tour is coming soon! 2008 is NE's 25th Anniversary. Look for big things!

This album is so good! Shame on you Diddy shame on you! For not putting them out there for the MATURE N.E FANS! To make matters worse we can't even get the artwork for the album. But the album still deserves a listen!

This is the best album yet from New Edition this group has grown over the years they have given us the best music for the past 25 years I am and will continue to be a New Edition Fan 4 Ever

This is a must for any New Edition or R&B fan. If nothing else download 'That's Why I Lied' which is one of the best R&B songs I've heard in a while. It employs the classic New Edition solo and choral response scheme they've been using for years. The lyrics and subject matter of this song is bold and actually makes you feel bad for him and his infidelity. Other hot tracks include 'Start Turning Me On' with it's killer bass-line. 'All on You' (classic BBD sound), 'Love Again', and 'Hot 2 Nite' are also strong players. 'Come Home With Me', 'Newness', 'One Love Interlude', and 'Re-Write the Memories' are some of NE's smoothest tracks. Buy this album, you won't be dissappointed.
