A MUST have jazz classic!! Title tune, Pinocchio, and Riot are standards in my book! Pinocchio is kind of like Coltrane's Giant Steps in terms of young musicians from Roy Hargrove on down including it in their library of recorded music. A signature set from Miles second GREAT jazz band!!!! Tony Williams is a BEAST on this set!!!!

this was miles' last "traditional" jazz album. very moody. the title cut may as well be a clinic on jazz drumming while tony williams shines while davis and shorter play the anchor. "fall" alone is beauttiful enough to make you wanna cry. can't believe im the first to review this record. a must have for the classic davis/shorter/carter/hancock/williams fans.
