I've been a huge Marc Broussard fan since I discovered his music on the Live Music Archive back in 2002 or so. What I love about this record is that there's a variety. There's some of the harder-sounding rock, some of the directly soul-inspired music, some countrified music, some poppier music, and some music that doesn't fit any category. No matter what mood I'm in, I can listen to "Keep Coming Back" and find something that resonates with me. My ultimate favorite tracks have to be "Evil Things", "Hard Knocks", and "Evangeline Rose".

I love love love Marc broussard. Every single one of his CDs has been great and this one is no different. I first started listening to him mainly because he is a local artist (I live in Louisiana) but after hearing him I fell in love. He is even better live! I don't care what anyone else says this cd is great!

I have been following Marc since the release of Carenco. It is so nice to hear him stay true to his roots with his earthy soul sounds with an edge. Love every song on this album.

Although the covers are terrific, it's great to hear Marc's original work in this latest recording. The songs show off what a true musician he is. The vocals are spot on per usual and the arrangements are tight. Another excellent effort from this gifted music maker.
