This album is an experience, the louder it is, the better. Jeff Beck is somewhere beyond a master. This will knock your socks off, well worth every penny. I got my copy at Barnes & Noble for $7.99!

George Harrison, made his guitar weep, Jeff Beck, can make his guitar sing the Blues! Ol' Geoffrey you just keep getting better, you hold the record, six Grammy Awards for Best Rock Instrumental Performance and at this rate you will reach seven or more when it's all said and done...Congrats!

Finally a group of people reviewing Beck that actually seem like they are talking about. Beck has always been and has always shown his superior skills. Also saw Beck and Clapton "AT THE MADISON SQUARE". Unfortunately had a group of idiots there to see Clapton and were googling and speaking incorrectly about Beck. Why go? I told them to shut up and I was once again blown away Saw The Jeff Beck Group with Rod at the Fillmore. They had some kind of something and the show ended early. Still the best!!! As a guitarist always the greatest. Thankfully we have some young blood such as Jonny Lang and Joe Bonamassa who are much younger and really fantastic to carry the tradition.

I have been listening to this Beck album continously for about a year now. It may be because I have great memories attached to it while listening, but it is one of my top albums. It is his masterpiece, and I grew up listening to Blow by Blow. Blow's it away! One of the single greatest albums EVER produced, no lies folks.

I hate using urbane language like the above, but there simply is no other description for this album. I have been listening to JB since the Truth days, right through Blow by Blow and the Who Else period. Jeff, if you are reading, this tops everything that has come before. I don't know, it seems that every artist has that one album that represents the culmination of a career, while also breaking entirely new ground. I'm thinking of Revolver mainly, or perhaps Hounds of Love by Kate Bush. Well, this is Jeff's statement album. The various musical oeuvres on display here blend seamlessly. I play a Stratocaster actually, and well, but I cannot for the life of me work out how he's doing it. It's not just wizardry here, it's the raw emotion. If, by the end of Nessun Dorma, you do not have something resembling a tear in your eye, then you are a rock, a tree, a piece of fiberglass. Certainly not human. Thank you Jeff for this most sublime and beautiful of recordings. I will treasure it forever.

Always been a Jeff Beck fan...always. Even when style, speed and technical prowess sometimes outshadowed feeling or texture...but this record is truly an ideal amalgamation of all that Jeff Beck brings to the table. If you love Jeff Beck, if you're a guitar player, then, this is a must-buy. Funny how the Brits got the blues down so big-time, huh (EC, Alvin Lee, Jeff Beck, et al)?

I love Jeff' guitar solo. He can play anything from classic to rock.
