This music was beautiful when it played on the raido in the early morning nice and low and I just wanted to stay in bed with this beautiful woman and feel good all day. Riverside Ca. 1976 Hi Cheri I have never forgot you.

This was a added gem! To hear the original version of "Gone At Last" that originally Paul wrote as a duet with Bette Midler! To hear the demo, just warned my heart! Love the version with Bette much better then the one he released with Miss Snow! It's a shame Bette and Paul could agree on the arrangement! Which was the reason he used Miss Snow instead!

I'd forgotten all about this great record. A true potpourri of themes and styles, all capped off with the killer duet with Phoebe Snow "Gone At Last." There's a reason this is the only record Simon's made that hit #1 and the Grammy the followed. Who else could have written such a beautiful ode to Yankee Stadium?
