For true Trower and blues fans this album will not disappoint! Trower is one of the last great rock/blues guitarists of his time. Treat yourself to this album. You will be glad you did.

Look he's Robin Trower, so we all new he could play! This record is amazing! Cool covers and the tune Sheltered Moon the mans soul is out there for all to see/hear.It's like listening to Janis Joplin sing, only with a Strat! Right up there with Blue Jeans Blues (the Top)

I have enjoyed everything this man has played. Saw him live as a kid at the FILLMORE EAST and when PROCUL HARUM let him off his leash he would burn Burn BURN...He still DOES BURN! this is so nice to see, and i only wish he was as revered as ERIC C. Because even tho he is not a writer or a genre jumper, he does his thing with life , love and INTEGRITY that matters.... Get this!

Why this guy isn't in the rock n roll hof is mind bogling, considering who is in,it might be a slam against him. The feeling and tone he coaxes out of his guitar is something all guitar players should aspire to. Not a bad cut on the whole cd. the mix of straight ahead blues, rythm and blues, and cosmic blues is outstanding, Although highly unlikely, this should be at the top of the list for Blues album of the year. I just wish he could get more airplay, so that every one can hear this master at work !!

This is the best work he's done. Not overplayed. Little Red Rooster is amazing. The entire album is perfect.

~ digheyseus_07-FEB-2013 Robin Trower has been a steady fixture in my pre-CD era, vinyl days. For quite a few years I knew him as the guitarist of one of my very favorite bands, named after a cat known as PROCOL HARUM. He was an excellent axeman when I was a 15 year old just discovering the blues genre; and the samples I've heard from this release (as well as his totally well received discography throughout the years) say to us that Robin Trower is indeed still right there.

A going back to the basics, that's what he is best at!
