I loved the album of Transatlanticism, and it was interesting to hear it's more stripped-back demo version, especially since they used a drum machine and beatboxing (on Lightness) for most of the tracks before recording actual drums as well as stripping it down to just guitar on some songs. Makes it sound more like a Ben Gibbard solo album(or Postal Service for that matter) rather than a Death Cab record, and that's what makes it interesting. Recommended for the curious ones who loved the original album and want to delve deeper.
