This album is seriously underrated. Their first foray into traditional/heavy metal is an absolute chefs kiss. Also, The Edge of The World is one of the best epic length songs I’ve ever heard, please don’t sleep on that one.

I’m by no means a superfan, but enjoyed the early stuff...more recently, power within...I’m glad to hear they are preparing an album for 2019...this album definitely needs a strong follow up...melodies are just not there...vocals seem forced...ashes of the dawn is the only song to salvage on this dud...I’ll give them one more chance on the new album, but may be past their prime...I hope not...really like what they have brought to the table.

I understand all the "you either like DragonForce or you don't" talk. I personally like them but that doesn't mean I am blind to some fo the warts that exist on this album. First, when listened to as a whole, this album can be a bit repetitive. Verse, chorus, small solo, verse, chorus, slow interlude for 60 seconds, blazing speed out of the interlude into a solo, repeat verse one, chorus. Seriously, almost everyone of their 5-6 minute songs plays out this way. I still like what I heard, but on repeated whole album listens this become evident. Also, while I do enjoy their solo's, I do sometimes feel that they focus too much on that and at times the solo's don't seem to go with the songs they're in. Silence is a perfect example of how the entire song and solo work together. The solo feels like it's part of the song while on other the songs the solos could honestly be swapped with other solos from other songs. The 11 minute headscratcher, Edge of the World, never should have made the cut. After all that, I still give this entire album 4 stars. The songs are catchy even though it took at four entire listens to appreciate everything. Now for positives! The sing-a-long end of Judgement Day just feels right, and the guitar tone of WAR! sounds amazing and very unDragonForce like. WAR! stands out as my favorite song on the album.

Dear Potential Buyer, From what I've seen, you either love DragonForce or you hate 'em. For all who say that this is just another cut and paste album, have you even listened to it??? This album sounds insane! I have only recently been listening to them, but it definitely feels like they are taking critique while still staying true to themselves. I am honestly impressed by these guys' skill, commitment to fans, and an ability to take constructive critisism and run with it which is very apparent in this album! By the way, even if the band doesn't want to be completely associated with GH3, that might be where they get a lot of people from because of how awesome Through the Fire and Flames was. That's how I heard of them at least. In the end, I am very happy with my purchase! - LordOfRealms

Overall this album is absolutely amazing. The blistering solos are still there even though they changed their sound a bit. Let's not forget they did that on purpose and it worked beautifully
