This is a very deep record more to the heart of our human experiences than using the formula of mentioning God and calling it a Christian album. This is about many human, personal emotions. It is not weird to be surprised that others may have fallen in love with you, it is not necessary to find wonder only in God, but it is wonderful to find passion in the feelings and emotions we have been given. Chris Rice finds that in this album.
    • Easy listening. Creative aspects of life, put to music.

Very good album. Rice has creative song topics: kind of random, but quality. He definitely takes a different look at all of those little, seemingly insignificant, things of life. To top off the lyrics, though, the melodies and harmonies are catchy and fun. The instrumentation is very fitting for the style. It is an album I've listened to several times, without getting tired of it.
    • Doesn't come close to his other albums

This album was a dissapointment to me. Chris Rice's earlier albums were all so awesome, with WAY better lyrics, focusing on God. I'm not sure what happened, but these lyrics aren't that great, and the songs all sound very similar. (i.e. "when did you fall in love with me"...? kind of a weird question, dont you think??) I've been a huge fan of Chris Rice for many years, but this album just didn't wow me like his others did. If you want to buy a Chris Rice album, definitely go for Deep Enough to Dream, or Past the Edges - those albums are SOOO much better!

I lOVE Chris Rice. He has such a great range of style, so there is something for everyone on this c.d. I couldn't pick a favorite...I like them all. The only exception is "Amusing". It is a let down after the other great songs, and very annoying. To be short, it's not "amusing"! : ) Over all a great c.d. and a great artist!

Chris Rice is a talented musician. Cleverly worded love songs to make your heart melt sideways, and a perfect blend of notes and beats. Husbands everywhere should be forced to do a weekend retreat with this CD (ha ha). Seriously this artist is way underappreciated! So, I don't know about you, but I'm telling all my friends!

I am also surprised that more people have not commented on this album! It's great!!! My favorite song is definitely "When Did You Fall." It is such a sweet love song. And "Breakfast Table" pulls at my heart because of how true the emotions are that he sings about. Buy this album- you'll love it!
