Short Term Memories

This is the song I put on my alarm.

I went thru a rough patch; in 4 months I experienced the death of my best friend/prayer partner, new leadership at work with the requisite increase in duties, a major flood in my apartment, a frightening close call with my health. I heard "Clumsy" one night on the radio and it spoke light into my dark place. I bought this album and played it over and over and it helped me remember that Jesus is with me in the storm and He loves me even when I am a mess. He helped me stay calm thru Chris' music which allowed my behavior to be a good witness for Christ to the people who housed me for 6 weeks while my apartment was repaired. Praise the LORD for the gift he has given Chris Rice.

I love every one of his albums, but this one has a little bit of everything and it makes me laugh, cry, fills me with excitement, and fills me with wonder at how AWESOME God is. We miss you, Chris Rice...please don't stop writing your one-of-a-kind-style, wonderful music!

This was the first Chis rice album I bought. I can't say enough good things about his music. I now own every album he made and hope he will come out with more.

These songs are awesome, especially the Cartoons [Live] song and Untitled Hymn (Call To Jesus). I remember singing the Cartoons song when I was little, and I also remember hearing these songs play on Klove. Great and uplifting songs for kids and adults!

Thoroughly enjoyed every song. A long CD, great for trips in the car,or working out.

Diverse album from comtemplative to humorous which reminds us of HIS diverse nature and ever presence. HE uses Chris' musical talents here as a conduit to better see and fell HIM.

I can't stop singing "COME TO JESUS!" Super songs on this album. I put Chris Rice up there with Michael Buble and Josh Groban as far as hitting that "emotional" chord.
