The Living Room Sessions (Studio Album)

The track "How Great Thou Art" will not play; it tells me I have to "authorize this computer" before it will let me play the track. I then do the requisite authorization and I still cannot play it. I tried re-downloading it but there is apparently no way to do that. NOW WHAT??

This album has long been on my top 10 favorites list for a while. Chris Rice takes us to the place that every musician finds comfort and peace -- by going back to the basics and enjoying time alone in those moments. The music and energy flowing from his piano is simply incredible. I only wish that he would continue to record more of these sessions along with his other music. His talent and versatility is wonderful, but I would love to add more like these to my collection. (I would urge you to also try his Christmas album.) I highly recommend both of the albums if you are looking for quality piano music that stays true to it's original composition, but is performed by an artist who adds just the right amount of sweetness to the notes to leave you very happy.

Chris Rice executes these classic Hymns perfectly on the piano, and it's a wonderful album to listen to when just meditating on the Lord. The quality of the music is perfectly fine (the customer who complained about quality must have had a problem on their end). Just buy the album, and enjoy these classics!

One of my most favorite albums ever.

This album is one of the best i have ever bought, i love hyms and arrangments of hymns, and i am always playing different arrangements myself. But i would tell anyone who buys this album that the songs are repetative, but if you have any brains at all, you would realize that they are HYMNS, AND ARE SUPPOSED TO BE REPETATIVE!!!!!!

This is a great album! Chris Rice has taken so many wonderful refreshing hymns and arranged them beatifully. The only thing I dislike is the repetitve-ness the songs take on. Some of them are a little long, and get a tad boring, which is why I prefer to play them myself than to listen to the cd. I would highly reccomend the book that goes w/ this cd! The songs are pretty easy. Anway, Chris, you did awesome!
