Smell the Color 9

I first heard this album when I was 18 and at 33 it still has song karma creating lyrics and a pleasant melodic vibe to it. Even if my views on Christianity have shifted since I was 18, I still enjoy anytime the longing to listen to this album comes to me.

Love his music and this is a wonderful album. Haven't heard anything new from him in a while. Hope he is still recording music. His music really draws me closer to God.

This is my favorite album. But then again just about every song this guy writes I love. I sure hope he continues to write these christ centered songs.

I remember this album from my "Baptist Days" and i remember how much peace it brought the busy mind of a young man worried that he might be blaspheming by asking the tough questions. This whole album is a reflection of God's love for us, Chris does a great job of making God's love easy to comprehend. That is the gospel, and I think that this album is a great addition to anyone's library who is looking for a little serenity.

I love Rice's voice and his excellent arrangements. My favorite songs on this CD are "Belong", "Home Tonight", "My Prayer" and "Somebody's Watching". It's definitely worth listening to... over and over again! Thank God for talented artists like Christ Rice!

I love Chris Rice! He is a great man of faith and his songs show it! More people need to buy the songs I hear them all the time on christian radio stations and am amazed everytime! He shows people of Gods love very well, but the songs are very entertaining and fun at the same time! You should defintely buy this album! Keep loving Jesus!

I used to listen to this CD when I was little. My favorite song was "The Face of Christ" I used to think it was really fast and hard rock song. I don't like this CD at all anymore but I thought I would give it 5 stars because it brings back a lot of memories.

This is undoubtedly one of the BEST Christian albums ever released, there is not a single crummy song on the whole thing! Other artists can tell stories pretty well in songs, but with Chris's songs, you don't have to read into the song at all, the message is plain. I highly recommend the entire album, but if you're not in the mood to buy a whole album, the must-haves are "Questions For Heaven", "Smell the Color 9" (that song is brilliant and fun, if you buy even just ONE song, that's got to be it!), "Home Tonight", "Magic Wand", "Sailing With Russell", and "Somebody's Watching". That's half the album anyway, so, again, you should just get the whole thing. GET THE WHOLE THING!

This is one of my favorite albums. Chris rice has an amazing gift of singer/songwriter! Awesome, keeping making more music!

Every song on this album is an absolute keeper. Get the whole thing, even if you've only heard one song. You won't regret it.
