Just was listening on Apple Music some classic Kansas albums and did not know a new album was released 2020. Just listened to this and this rocked!! Felt like old days back in my school years listening to these new amazing songs. Hope a new album comes out upcoming! A job well done! Today’s music doesn’t match up to what it used to be.
    • I want to love it but I don’t.

I’m glad to see that this band is still around and making new music. Musically, it sounds like Kansas. It is a great sounding album and the band plays very well. Unfortunately, these songs do not grab me. I think what this album does very well is makes me appreciate even more how great the original Kansas were. My biggest criticism is Ronnie Platt’s singing. I just don’t like him and think his voice is hard to take for a full album. Also, I think there is too much violin playing. The only song I think I may like is The Song The River Sang, partly because Ronnie Platt does not sing on it. There are some great instrumental sections here and there but not enough to make me recommend the album.
    • Simply great!!

Listened to this 3-4 times now, and it is soooo good. The new members have not missed a beat, very tight and technically beautiful. If you are a true Kansas fan, you will love this.

I am really enjoying this album. More than a most previous Kansas albums in the last decade or so. Great work!

We’re not in Kansas anymore, sorry. These songs are disjointed and overly proggy. They are desperately in need of a decent songwriter and Ronnie doesn’t evoke any memories of anything resembling vintage Kansas with his singing style at all. How anyone can compare this to the original Kansas I remember is strange, They can still play but I liked the PI much better.
    • Enjoyed it all!

I’ve been a fan since 1974 and followed the boys through all their incarnations. Loved them from the first concert and loving this album. Can’t wait for them to be able to tour again and hear this in concert.
    • Great Stuff

As a fan of classic Kansas (especially “Leftoverture”) I would say that this album is very faithful to the bands sound. It does do its own things, but always with glimpses of the past.
    • New and beautiful!

I am a long time loyal Kansas fan & I’ve seen them 6 times in concert. There are 3 really great songs on this album but the rest is too weird. Don’t love this one at all.
