Love it! Miracles Out Of Nowhere is such a beautiful song. Carry On Wayward Son is my #3. #2: What’s on my mind.

The most intricate song structures and flawless musicianship ever created. Only August Burns Red comes close.
    • One Of The Best Albums Of The 70s

I originally owned this album(or should I say vinyl record)when it first came out in 1976 or so. “Carry On Wayward Son” was a monster hit that still receives much airplay even today, but the whole album is excellent. Another standout is “The Wall” an extremely powerful song that still brings tears to my eyes. In listening to albums like this, I am immediately transferred back to arguably the best era in rock music ever, the 1970s.

...but overfamiliarity has made me love it less. Carry On Wayward Son is a great song but I have heard it so many times that I don’t enjoy it anymore. There are plenty of great songs here, like The Wall, What’s On My Mind and Miracles Out Of Nowhere, along with the mostly instrumental Magnum Opus. My least favorite song is Questions Of My Childhood. I wish there were more guitars here. The cover is terrific, both front and back, so this is a good album to own on vinyl.

    • Too many notes

A critic of Mozart once said his music had too many notes or at least that is what I saw in a movie. However the ITUNEs reviewer of this must be that critic's reincarnation. He has a deaf ear. This album is beautiful and magical.

It's unfortunate, I'm listening now and amazed at the sound. The vocals the violin, serious lyrics, and I love progressive. Big fan old genesis and yes. I was very fond of wayward and Dust from radio in 70's but never heard the rest.
