For those who miss Carry On Wayward Son-simply buy Leftoverture-and then take heart in Dust in the Wind,Point of Know Return, Nobody's Home,Closet Chronicles, Hopelessly Human, and every other song on this album!

Like another reviewer, I had this album on vinyl and happily wore it out. The title track was all over the radio, and besides that my favorites are Paradox, Portrait (which never sounded like they were struggling at all), Closet Chronicles, Hopelessly Human, and of course, Dust in the Wind. I finally got to see them in May of 2000. The flyer advertising the show asked, "Do you remember these hits?"--and named all the great songs. Remember them? I never forgot them! And the band came out and rocked like they were 25 years old again.
    • Simply brilliant! This is Kansas at their absolute best!

This is one of the best albums by any american rock band in the 70s. I remember when this came out on the heels of Leftoverture. Kansas outdid themselves by releasing this brilliant album and selling out everywhere they played. Hopelessly Human is my favorite track.

This is one of the defining prag rock albums. Buy it. Listen to it from beginning to end. And never be the same. There are no fillers.

But no incentive for buying the entire album just get 'dust in the wind' and by the way for all of those who think this is a greatest hits album it isn't! Obviously 'carry on my wayward son' isn't on the album cause this is a studio album!

I have listened to this band from the very beginning, remembering driving twenty five miles one way to buy Leftoverture and have never tired of that classic. Kansas had their moment and that moment lives.

I remember borrowing it from a neighbor, praying he wouldn't ask for it back before we moved. One of the 10 deserted island classics for me!

This October Point of Know Return reaches 35 years! Oh man, I am dating myself when I say I wore out the vinyl more than once. Congratulations to all former and current member of Kansas. For those of us who follow these guys know the quality of musicianship that goes into this difficult style of music, even though Dust In the Wind started out as an acoustic guitar fingering exercise for Kerry! Thanks to his wife's persistence, it became a world-wide iconic song. Point of Know Return is an iconic album – a must for all album collections. Not only done it have three great hits, it has a collection of some of the best album cuts found anywhere in Classic Rock!

Dust in the wind is played b4 the disasters happen. The song itself is far from a disaster
